Just heard The Temper Trap are coming here to play a proper gig. It's not till August, but I'm looking forward to it. They were great at the BDO and drew a decent crowd, despite the 12pm slot.

Yeah, it's a ****ing amazing line up. Pity I don't have a cheeky $400 lying around.

I always love hearing the lineup for that, as the majority of acts stop off in Auckland either before or after it. Big fan of that festival as a result.
****ing Ash?! In my top 3 bands of all time...seriously hope they come over here. If not, given the strength of the rest of the lineup as well, I might seriously consider going over there for it. Last edited by _Ed_; 14-04-2010 at 07:40 PM. |

They had to pull out some big guns to get people to go to Brisbane, I guess. It has been synonymous with Byron.
Saw the headliners and I was like, "Meh", but its all the mid-tier acts that are getting me excited. So many to choose from though, probably be a heap of clashes. Don't think that I can go, trying to save and stuff. But geez... |

Prob not gonna goto splendour anymore, having thought about it I cant Justify paying $450 for the ticket, taking 3 days off work and still have fuel/food/booze/condoms etc costs on top...especially considering I'm trying to save to get overseas sometime this year...bound to be some sideshows in Brisbane

The Bats playing the San Francisco Bathhouse, Wellington on the 17th/18th of September. Should be good.
