Splendour in the Grass was awesome. Unfortunately I missed Operator Please, Muscles and Editors because of issues getting in (the first two because we were busy drinking, the last because it took eons to get in). But from then on had an absolute ball, but am still shattered about missing Hot Chip. Ah well. The rest of the week in Byron was pretty handy too, although too many people left town too quickly. There was no-one left by Tuesday morning.

Don't be disapointed about missing Operator Please. They supported both Kaiser Chiefs and Arctic Monkeys, so I had the misfortune of seeing them twice. They are crap live. Don't mind the ping pong song on the radio, but even that was rubbish live.

    I'm Green

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Get What You Want is a better song anyways, I reckon. For a bunch of kids still in high school, they can still write a good tune.

Two people have agreed to go to I'm From Barcelona with me, but I wasn't serious when I asked them and I'm not sure if I want to go myself...
Considering letting those two go by themselves and telling everyone it's a date.

Seeing The Police would be interesting. I've heard their live shows aren't that great since the reformation, but I do like them a lot.

Dylan was very good indeed. I suspect we got him on a "good night", as he was quite into it, and played a wide range of material. Highlights were "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Masters Of War". We had excellent seats too, effectively in the second row, side-stage. Just don't go expecting note for note renditions of the old material and there's plenty to enjoy.

The Frames were a bit of a disappointment as an opening act, as I'd heard they were very good live. The last couple of songs were good enough to warrant showing up on time, though.

Seeing John Butler Trio on Sunday, which somehow doesn't have quite the same anticipation about it.

Snow Patrol coming to a park near my house, can't wait for it. I don't like said band that much, it's just i'm going with a few girls, so it changes everything. 42 the tickets were, was expecting 33, but i suppose we did get them a few days ago.
    Where's my money?
