Licciardello emerged from court draped in the Australian flag.

"I'd just like to say how deeply disappointed we are with the court's decision," he told reporters.

"We will not rest until this injustice has been corrected.

"We will be appealing the decision to the Supreme Court to the High Court to the UN to the Jedi Council and to the snickometer."

When it was pointed out to him that he'd in fact had a victory in court, Licciardello looked confused and said: "I'm sorry I didn't actually prepare any material for the off-chance that we won."

He then announced that he was off to the Big Day Out and was whisked away by a waiting car.

They don't teach you that at school.

LOL, the court appearance ended up funnier than the stunt itself.

Would have been a farce if he'd been convicted, too.

Because it was one of the most dire shows for the last year or more.

Anyway, good news that he wasn't charged. Such an awesome guy. Who remembers Lameass? I always found that small segment extremely funny

Yeah, I thought the Glass House was pretty cringeworthy in recent times, mainly because of Dave Hughes - who I actually like a fair bit in other formats. Just seemed to me like he was struggling, and the show was trying too hard in general.

They jsut had the same jokes over and over. And trying to actually talk about news items and issues when they know they'd get off track wasn't the best either. If they had jsut had a revolving panel of comedians and went off on tangents, and continued those tangents for entertainment rather than reeling it in and trying to talk about what John Howard has been up yo, it would've been funnier.

Also, Hughesy wearing a wig - just not that hilarious.

On the ratings issue, perhaps the recent political machinations (and appointments) concerning the ABC board had something to do with it, I dunno.
