The heat of battle...

just wandering what sort of injuries or otherwise posters on here have picked up, be it through cricket or other sports or just general day to day stuff.

For myself i have injured my left knee 3 times due to rugby union, including one dislocation that hurt like buggery and needed pethadine in order to sedate me. Broken left collar bone after i landed on it while being tackled, dislocated right shoulder while going in for a tackle, countless sprains of the ankle doing any number of things. Broken wrist from when i got hit opening the batting and a bent nose from a headbutt delivered by some drunken guy down the street. oh and a dislocated finger after an argument during a handball game in year 8

Never broken a bone, no matter how hard i end up getting hit they won't break. Mate of mine took a little bit of shoulder in the chest whilst playing football and got a cracked rib from it. Just one of those things i guess.

My leg muscles are utterly dire, i can guarantee that when i walk some part of my legs will hurt, had it for about 8 years like that.

The most annoying thing atm is my left shoulder which pops in and out when it chooses.

i got that shoulder popping thingy as well...it'll even do it when im just playing something like golf or table tennis. i hadnt broken a bone till last year and i got smashed around a fair bit, the tackle that actually broke my bone wasnt hard, it was just that i landed on the point of my shoulder....just awkward landing i suppose.

Broken my left thumb four times, three playing cricket, once when I tripped up and put my hand out to stop myself..

Put a crack in my hand when I went to smack a guy in the face and he turned around, causing me to hit the back of his head

I've got a double jointed left shoulder which I can pop in and out, but it doesn't really hurt

Ripped up the cartilage in my left knee, as well as tearing the Medial Collateral Ligament at the same time. Skied over a thin piece of ice and the ski went in while the rest of me continued down the hill.
