Bush to send 20,000 more soldiers to Iraq ; Balir decides to slowly withdraw troops

Wonder what people make of BUsh's recent annoucemnet to appoint a new military commander in Iraq, General David Petraeus and tos end more troops. ?

Meanwhile Britain will start withdrawing some trrops from Basra next year, Blair announced.....

By 'slowly withdraw' does Blair mean they're going to sneak out in the middle of the night with cardboard cutouts up to fool the US troops into thinking they're still there?

Don't know what Dubya is going to make of the British wirthdrawal thopugh....think he would have expected Blair to support him on this and send in the Gurkhas, the Black Watch, the SAS and whatever else Britannia has to offer.

It seems like someone throwing money at a business that is not doing too well, except they are throwing more young American lives. They recruit from the poorest parts of theUSA. I heard someone mention the S word, if a few rich young Americans were sent then they would withdrawl

dont those recruits get paid heavy??minus all the heavy benefits they must be drinkin up a lotta oil aswell! id do it because its everyones dream to drive a bentley and own a yatch without actually thinking about the real consequences and the effect it has on the people around you.
