If these 3 Pokemon were to go head-to-head, who would win?

Charizard

Stage 2
Flame Pokemon
Fire/Flying

Height 5 ft 7 in (1.7 m)
Weight 199.5 lb (90.5 kg)

Blastoise

Stage 2
Shellfish Pokemon
Water

Height 5 ft 3 in (1.6 m)
Weight 188.5 lb (85.5 kg)

Venusaur

Stage 2
Seed Pokemon
Grass/Poison

Height 6 ft 7 in (2.0 m)
Weight 220.5 lb (100.0 kg)

Sorry about the lack of a 4th option.

Venusaur is quite clearly the weak one of the three, and would no doubt be knocked out fairly quickly, and as such it really comes down to Blastoise or Charizard. Charizard I feel is a little overrated, and given the water vs. fire advantage, I'd give it Blastoise, just.

Considering boycotting the poll mind due to the lack of the 4th option, but given it's a topic so close to my heart, I won't

I think it's a scissors-paper-rock scenario. Charizard beats Venusaur, Blastoise beats Charizard and Venusaur beats Blastoise. However if chairs were thrown in a pub I think Venusaur would come out unscathed. He dominates for me.

Nah, I don't buy in to the whole plant dominance over water, have yet to see conclusive stats to back it up. A bit of an advantage, admittedly, but nothing huge. Would expect Charizard to take out Venusaur to begin with though, so that he can focus solely upon Blastoise.

They can have more than one weakness. Like rock pokemon with poison and ghost.

EDIT: Let it be known that no-one likes Yu-gi-oh

I would prefer a DBZ one. Loved DBZ when I was young.

I hated how in the games, that guy that was your rival, I believe it was gary, always picked the pokemon yours had weakness against. I hated that.

Charizard is still able to learn fighting moves and stuff though isn't he. So maybe he could still compete with Blastoise.
