Sound Editing?

Anyone here have experience with it? Could use some help for the CW round table.

Making the sound more even throughout. Editing out certain moments, seeing if we can clean up some background noises and things. Just downloaded a free program called Audacity and I can do basic stuff but I'm stumped when it comes to anything of value.

I can have a look at the basic files and see what I can do with them. There are probably people around CW who are much more skilled at sound editing though.

Supply me with a mixing desk and I might be able to do something. I didn't apply for a sound production course without a reason.

The files are just basically the MP3 files I have uploaded....I just have some parts edited...nothing else changed.

Ive done this at BBC Nottingham, cut and pasting the highlights package etc. But its very basic and I ashve since forgot how to do it.
