Your Best Pokemon VI

Inspired by the ten million new threads in the sport section...

1. Mewtwo
2. Zapdos
3. Charizard
4. Blastoise
5. Venusaur
6. Mew

I've gone for balance here... a strong Pokemon of each type. The pyschic ability of Mewtwo combined with the flight and electric power of Zapdos, the blazing fire of Charizard, the aquatic brilliance of Blastoise, the growing natural ability of the grassy Venusaur and the allrounder "Mr.Fixit" nature of the versatile Mew would prove an unbeatable combo.

(And yes, this is a piss-take if anyone actually wasn't sure..)

Over-rated IMO. Also isn't a multi-skilled Pokemon... Bracewell and Fletcher certainly aren't impressed with him. I'm picked Zapdos as my electric option because he provides a bird option as well.

Wasn't there a legendary dog Pokemon? I forgot his name.

Yeah there were a few of those actually. I can't remember their names either tbh.. I was half over Pokemon by the team that version came out. Raikou maybe? Don't really remember.

Yeah, looks like I was right. Entei, Suicun and Raikou were the legendary dogs... I don't even remember Entei but the other two certainly ring a bell for me.

Either way, I'm sticking with my lineup at the moment until someone can come up with a better balance.

Don't really need Venusaur in there IMO. Grass Pokemon were always pretty useless IIRC. Not sure who you could replace it with though.

Grass Pokemon are neccessary to combat the effect of the water Pokemon really. Plus, Venusar has poison powers too if I recall correctly.

As it stands I don't have an ice, fighting or ground Pokemon in my lineup... but Mew has that covered with a move of each style respectively - due to its allroundedness.

Mewtwo - Psychic
Zapdos - Lightening/Flying
Charizard - Fire
Blastoise - Water
Venusaur - Grass/Poison
Mew - Allrounder

You can fight water Pokemon with Electric ones, can't you? And Blastoise can use some Ice moves so you've got that covered. IMO one of the fighting ones would be a good call, otherwise you're a little vulnerable to Rock moves. Hitmonlee was always pretty good.
