I can see you enjoying Oman Kev, if you can do without the drinking. Though I haven't been there since the early 90s so things might have changed.

Australia isnt even on our radar.

Its at the arse end of the world and nannies/housekeepers are too expensive.

If it was where Algeria was then it would be an option. Basically, First World countries are not an option until the children both go to school.

China. Got the cheap nannies and maids part down, very safe, great drinking environment, really good cost of living. If you're in Shanghai, there's a good cricket scene. Obviously doesn't really fit the 'congested,' or 'near UK' parts very well, but you can't have it all, can you? If it's hot you're looking for as well, you won't be disappointed come summer. The only time I've gone outside the dorms the last week has been to either work, get dinner, or go across the road to buy beer. Gets cold in winter though.

    Tasmania then?

Perth would be agood spot that suits all your mentions...apart from the nannies and near UK.

Sounds good. Just don't mention the words "human rights" or "Free Tibet" in anything above a whisper.

Ljubljana would be awesome mate. Slovenia's great and you can always pop out to the coast to Piran, or head north to the mountains around Bled - both wonderful places and I'm sure there're many more. Apparently Slovenia is also referred to as 'Little Switzerland'...so there you go. Hot girls too, not that that is of any interest to you

I think Burgey asked this earlier, but I'm interested as to what it is you and your wife do as I'd like to sign up!
