This is why you shouldn't hunt lion

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/lionhunt.html

It's quite possible that you will get owned.

Lion-hunting should be outlawed completely.
Utter exercise in sociopathy.

Are those guys the worst shots with a rifle or what? Jesus, you'd think you'd aim at Coke cans or something before you tried a real live bloody lion of all things.

God, that's awful. Poor lion. Shame he didn't manage to tear all their throats out. Love the macho high fives afterwards - wow we killed a lion with only around 30 shots from a high-powered rifle, and only losing one of our team! Losers.

Should clarify I don't mind hunting if its for food and its hunting deer or whatever. But a lion is such a magnificent animal that unless its directly threatening a human life, there's no excuse to kill one. If its attacking your lifestock or something, have it tranquilised and captured humanely and moved somewhere else.

That's terrible, why would you want to kill something like that? Agree with Matt about it being a pity that it didn't tear their throats out.

I swear this video does the rounds every year. Fair effort from the lion, but in the end, it just wasn't enough.

Whoa! What a classic attempt, should have got the idiot.
The shooting was quite terrible from point blank range.

What a pack of psychos. Wish the lion had torn them apart.
