53% of the vote, and you don't win?

There's something very wrong with the electoral boundaries in South Australia

    The SA political situation.

But seriously, this should have been a landslide Liberal win, the list of mis-steps by Weatherill in the last month alone is impressively suicidal, leave alone in his time as Premier. Wonder what happened? Marshall isn't universally liked even within Lib circles, maybe that showed. Or maybe Weatherill has the scoop.

It's what happens when you lock away a **** load of votes in ultra safe, mouth breathing rural electorates and pick **** candidates in marginal seats which matter.

Also, I think Wetherill is seen as a decent bloke, isn't he? Though the Habib thing was a ****ing disgrace.

One of the SA "indies" sounds about as accommodating of the Libs as Windsor

As usual, depends on who you speak to. His involvement in a couple of local incidents hasn't endeared him to the electorate, especially this one. And for a bloke who champions civility in politics, threatening to resign over Don Farrell's installation into Napier was a bit unbecoming and needing assurances from Farrell he wasn't interested in the leadership was a bit petty.

Amusing to see a guy wearing a Brawn GP cap whilst speaking against the government's environmental record at one of the anti-Abbott rallies

Lol, you gotta love it, haven't you? There was a bloke wearing a Che tee shirt who lobbed at a polling station for the election last year, and when a Greens volunteer went to hand him a HTV card, he said "**** off, mate. Do I look like a ****ing communist to you?"

Went to College of Law with Nick Di Girolamo. He's in for a very interesting time.

Mr Watson said that Mr Di Girolamo used some of the $3 million to pay off debts relating to a racehorse called Partners In Crime.

I can't believe anyone would say ANDREW BOLT IS A RACIST.

Anyone who says ANDREW BOLT IS A RACIST really ought to apologise, and I'm glad the abc did the right thing in distancing itself from the assertion that ANDREW BOLT IS A RACIST.

But Langton recounted and said he's not a racist, ergo, he isn't. There is absolutely no way she was bullied, cajoled, influenced or threatened to do so.
