I've come to the conclusion that illiteracy is the biggest problem we are facing here in Australia. If Australians could read, we might have a chance come Saturday:

Liberal candidate links asylum seekers to traffic jams and hospital queues

Heard asylum seekers were also to blame for long drive thru waits at McDonalds.

Labor supporters, with their rust bucket, clapped-out cars, are more to blame for traffic jams in my opinion

Labor voters don't drive commodores any more. They've moved on to Audis and BMWs, largely due to the prosperity of labor reforms.

But they've forgotten who got them the Audi.

    - Paul Keating

If Labor lose on Saturday, I think Albo should be the next ALP leader

Their next leader, in all likelihood, will not go on to become Prime Minister - so they shouldn't burn off younger talent like Shorten, Jason Clare or Burke

Rather, they need a unifying, respected figure and someone who the party can rally around in the dark initial years of opposition

Albanese fits that bill. He also has good cut-through and will be able to exploit the new Government's early mis-steps and any broken pledges
