    The government doesn't care if the infrastructure is profitable in the same way a corporation would and nor should they. The money the infrastructure will bring in offsets the outlay and its this net cost that should be weighed up when considering whether the project will be of benefit to the nation. The government gets absolutely nothing from pouring money into Telstras infrastructure with the Liberal proposal?

    The government contribution to the NBN is $30 billion over however many years it takes to set up iirc. Not sure what's been spent this far.

    The filth's policy costs about $20-25 billion. Not that they'll do it if they're elected anyway. The Queen doesn't few much for fast broadband, and he Buble is readily available in paper form anyway.
