Hearing a whisper that Tony Abbott will announce his support for gay marriage on 60 minutes on Sunday. Wonder if it will turn out to be the case.

Tony Abbott’s office says a report the Liberal leader is poised to support gay marriage is wrong.

    Interesting to see what happens.

Abbott's office, and 60 Minutes have said its not the case.

Would be a good thing if he did IMO.

Lol just saw AFR cover with Hanson defending Gillard's foreign worker stance.

Hahah, just gets better and better for Fed ALP.

Is that such a bad look for swing voters though? All that might mean if it becomes news (which I doubt) is that ALP voters may vote Green or something.

Some swing voters in certain seats may be anti-refugee and have certain xenophobic tendencies... but I'd like to think they're not pro-Hanson!

I mean if she had the kind of positive impact you're suggesting she would, she'd be in Parliament right now.

Either way, Gillard can gagf. I was thoroughly disappointed in 2010 (which I posted here) when she started intimating that she was going to tap into the fears and xenophobic underbelly of areas of this country, but 3 years later I'm not copping it. Especially since its been her **** ups and mismanagement in other areas which has caused her to have to take this route in order to have any semblance of a chance to win the election.

    Australian Sex Party ftw.

The sex party slogan should be: 'liberal or labor either way you're screwed'

That's not the case and you know it. I'm pissed at the ALP as they are going to let blokes like Scott Morrison run immigration for this great country ffs. Its the exact opposite of what you are saying.

As I said, if Abbott is PM, I will lay blame of this occurring on Gillard, Swann and co. for allowing that to happen. This was all preventable.
