Abbott's announcement to fully index military pensions is a good one. Labor should adopt it.

Ahhh, the joys of watching Tone stick his foot in his mouth.
He's right though, Julia absolutely should be in the same place as Bang Bang. Tomorrow he'll come out and tell us that he knew she was in the same place as Bang Bang and that he misunderstood the question.

No that's today. Hadley was Friday.
Amazing press conference from Jones. It's all coming undone for the Libs. How good were the auction items at the Young Lib dinner eh? A hessian jacket signed by Jones and made by a Mr Berger, Lib Member. Mr Berger works for Woolworths. His job? Government Relations Executive. So far no comment from Tony or his office other than "he doesn't share the view." He's gone by Christmas. Watch Agenda now in Sky for Mark Latham tearing Paul Kelly a new one. It's all right,Tony made a statement at 3:00 pm that Alan's comments were "totally out of line and I'm glad he apologised for them."
Tony obviously didn't see what passed for Alan's apology. As Laurie Oakes said: "Too late. Bring a bucket." |

Is that the consensus in the press gallery that it's way too little/late from both? It seems to be.
Holy **** it's a dog thing to say btw. Don't blame Gillard for not taking his calls, must be hard for her not to pick up, say "go **** yourself" and put it back down.

Part of the cut and thrust of politics
Cup of cement etc ![]() Seriously though, the general populus (so disinterested and detached from politics) are not waiting by the TV for Tony Abbot's costings, or for the Libs' IR platform The general populus: "I just want Gillard gone" And she will be Those who follow the minutae of politics often think everybody else does too

Yeah and that's all that matters right Howard? Not the fact that one of the allies of the party you swear by is an out and out scumbag, and the future of your party invited this **** to be a guest speaker. **** the election how about we consider the fact that he was the guest speaker to the Young Libs function and what that means.
What an absolute disgrace. Would not piss on him if he was on fire. Same goes for most of the young Libs actually. How about the Young Libs president denyingJones ever said it. Then when he was told there was recorded audio he said he never heard it, as it was a long speech. The future of the party right there. |
