Seems to me there should be a greater education process by these social media sites. and jesus christ if some dude tweets something to you that you don't like, don't ****ing retweet it.

it just doesn't seem that weird to me that celebs, who pre-facebook,youtube, twit etc probably used the internet for...heaven knows, but they probably weren't using message boards or w/ever and experiencing/witnessing trolling/flaming and all that sort of stuff, are prone to reacting badly to constant and increasing vile abuse. i mean they're kinda just jumping into the deep end.....like the really deep end.

Farah retweeted some stuff that a) makes the originator feel big and b) was completely inappropriate for maybe half the population at least to read

They should make it compulsory on forums for you to have to put up a picture of yourself as your avatar. I for one am for the idea
