Think Travis Boak said it best when summarising Adelaide.

Best place to go is the airport.

Ran a week-long conference in Adelaide in 2010. Had enough of mullet town for a while.

Nah all jokes of course. Don't mind the city, and very much enjoyed the vineyards, was gorgeous.

Plus of course:

Adelaide fifth most liveable city in the world, according to Global Liveability Survey | adelaidenow

A credit to Adelaide or an indictment on Sydney?

It tis interesting to see how the event will impact the bottom line...

The Dunstan Institute released a book 'South Australia: from crisis to prosperity?' back in 2009, which was launched by Rannslide, and they had already spent the revenue (~$300mil pa) in their plans to cover things like the balooning unfunded liabilites for government pensions that escalated during the GFC to $20 billion.

Ridiculous. Will have no impact at all. The funniest part of the whole thing was Richo on q&a saying the PM shouldn't have spoken to Payl Kelly as she did because he's an experienced journalist. Hilarious.

If the next Newpoll is 52-48 or 51-49 Abbott will flat out implode. The most poll driven LOTO ever.

I wonder at what stage Can Do Campbell will deem it appropriate to send a thank you letter to the federal government for the large amount of money they'll have to outlay in dole payments to the 20,000 workers he's given the boot.

It's all about creating jobs people...unless it's about giving people the sack.

How good is the job market going to be in QLD over the next year or so!? On a positive note, you may get less dead****s holding down positions. Oh wait, he's giving public servants the sack isn't he.

Were the Galaxy poll of Qld federal voting intention taken last week be repeated at the next election, Labor would lose precisely one seat on where it is now.

So I think Federal Labor should actually send Can Do a big thank you.

I see your point. His office is just up the road, I might pop in and give him a hug tomorrow.
