I wasn't, but then they didn't make the call until stuff like how important they thought the NBN was and the budget hole came out, and it was pretty hard for the libs to come back from there. In theory he should have gone with the libs, but you know australian politics has kinda been absurd lately

They're dirt cheap because there is no sales tax and negligible import duty (e.g. less than 1% on cars as opposed to 100% in Australia)

As for the locals not having any money, you have to be ****ing kidding

Free housing, health-care, schooling, jobs for life where they barely have to turn up, zero tax and rates, cash gifts upon marriage from the gov't, perpetual interest-free loans to buy investment properties to secure their future, all credit card and personal debt paid off by the government last year as a Ramadan gift etc etc - it's the most generous welfare state in the world

The inequality is most apparent when comparing the wages paid to menial labourers with others. But even then, they are earning 10 times the amount that they would in their homeland

As for sweeping it under the carpet - that's bs as the labour camps are everwhere and you'd have to be blind not to notce the difference between the Burj Khalifa and the construction accommodation across the road

As for corruption, it's everywhere including Fair Work Australia apparently

181 contraventions of the Act

But, oh no, the public will focus on what an Ex-MP said to Ashby

That's the real crime

Yeah

Bbbbbbbut Craig Thomson's had two baby daughters

Makes you wonder why he needed to use public money on hookers if he was still getting it at home

true

the real issue though is apparently what Chris Pyne and Julia Bishop said

seriously though, with Barge Arse as Labor leader, Tone could get caught with his pants down in a kindergarten and it wouldn't register with the public.

she is just so impossible to relate to

the waddle, the voice, the look, the childlessness, the de facto thing, the ruthlessness...it's just the whole package

Anyone remotely interested in political and legal history should be watching Four Corners right now.

Haha, footage of Keating taking talk back callers with Laws in the 90s, and he's just ****ing spraying them. "You're talking prejudice, aren't you?"

"What are you saying the High Court just got it wrong are you? Well if you think that, just sign off if you know nothing"

****ing hilarious.

Much as I like KMH as a singer, from what I saw of Q and A last night she was a complete waste of space on that show.
