Gillard should just plough on and not sack Rudd and not spill the leadership.

    - If she spills, Rudd won't stand unless he's certain he has the numbers. By spilling the leadership but not winning a bollot (because Rudd didn't stand), she'll be made to look weak and foolish.

    - Sacking Rudd will make him even more a matyr than he already is (at least according to the public). And she'll come across as an even more ruthless bitch. Moreover, he can quite legitimately ask what he has been sacked for. At least publically, he's really not done much wrong.

The LNP ads are actually looking forwards and offering their vision of the future.

I'd be fairly surprised if Labor win any seats outside public transport zone 3.

that's their only option though isn't? Just absolutely slam Ashgrove, hope they get some good opinion polls and hope that creates doubt in the voters mind everywhere.
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?

With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left

    It's War

Mr Rudd took aim at Ms Gillard’s poor standing in the polls.

‘‘There is one overriding question for my colleagues and that is who is best placed to defeat Tony Abbott,’’ he said.

‘‘Tony Abbott is on track to win and has been for a long time.’’

Would be very likely. Far too many oddities in the speech and the way it was delivered otherwise (notice the perfect timing for the primetime commercial news bulletins, for one)

I found it hard to imagine a more odious and craven set of politicians than the UK's.
Looking into the cold, dead eyes of Steven Joyce convinced me NZs were just as bad.

But Australia is even worse, you poor bastards.

I am a political reporter for a newspaper.

If you want me to clarify what I said:

I found it hard to imagine a more odious and craven set of politicians in a democratic country than the UK's.
Looking into the cold, dead eyes of Steven Joyce convinced me NZs were just as bad.

But Australia is even worse, you poor bastards.

Of course they don't compare to Africa but you should expect better from those who seek to rule you.
