It's interesting. It is tiring to read about Rudd's potential challenge to Gillard day after day, but at the same time, if these sources within the party are correct and wheels are churning... I can't see how it isn't something incredibly important to report on.

And from that, if my country is going to potentially have a new PM in 2 months, I reckon I want to know about it.

The if is the critical part though. If the sources are unreliable, then obviously its a media beat-up.

He'd get 15 votes. Won't happen.

She's a blockbuster, red-letter night in politics

First, comes Four Corners on the Gillard-Rudd face-off

Then a showstopper Newspoll which will set the tone, set the prism through which politics is reported, for the next fortnight

Jenny's still looking alright at 38! Glad she's sitting next to Mikey Robbins.

Sorry but Gillard was woeful in her interview for 4 Corners.

Just admit you saw the polling ffs, and you were thinking that Labor needed a change.

She should never have done the interview in the first place.

It wasn't done because of the polling, Rudd led 52-48 the week before.

It was done because he was a demagogue. The polling was a pretext.

I wonder when it was done. pre or post hodges?

I sit next to the father of her new media adviser. As such, I have been offering my free advice on how to run the country and her media image. If he passes on my words she can save her skin

Considering the two weeks they've had, that probably counts as "great".
