Watching last night's Q and A - Bill Shorten in a passionate defence of the ALPs boat people policy is a very perplexing sight to see after the ALPs stance on the issue for nine of the past ten years.

How is it any more perplexing than watching Greg Hunt speak against pricing carbon after supporting it in parliament for years and writing a thesis in favour of it?

because (other than for Captain Stuff Up/Former Prime Minister Blah Blah) climate change is not a moral issue, whereas sending minors to non-UN signatory countries is, particularly after bucketing howard's Pacific solution for years.

Deliciously, she was punted by Slipper, their own Deputy Speaker. Only 55 Libs fronted to vote on the naming.

Fmd Abbott will be absolutely filthy on her.

ehhhhhhh i've just been told that thomson is on a pairing. pretty unlikely that abbott would honour that, don't you think? your underhanded trick for mine.

mind you it's seriously funny. what she was thinking waffling on and on i'm not sure...
