And she looks very nice, but I don't know if it's the camera or what, but she ought to wear something that doesn't hang so freely imo. Looks four foot one in that. Could look far more flattering. Do like the heels though.

Thinking about it, does anyone actually believe that the Liberals will get power federally within the next 10 years.

No. Rudd will get back in this time, likely with a reduced majority, and then the wear and tear of opposition, plus the increased difficulty in non-rusted on voters imagining them in power, will help get them through the next couple of elections.

Really, since Menzies got in post WWII, there's been one government that didn't get 10+ years in government - does anyone seriously suggest that Rudd's government has Whitlam's levels of incompetence?

Anyway, my Point Piper moles have confirmed to me that Malcolm Turnbull is staying in Federal politics.

Recontesting Wentworth or for something else?

EDIT: Looks like Wentworth.

Disappointing. Thought that Turnbull quitting would secure the seat for sure, even though I like him as a politician, but oh well.

Happy enough. While Turnbull is around the party will still be divided in the eyes of the media.

Reality is that every party is divided, the ALP just show more discipline.

Reckon he'd be best off standing as an independant really, find it hard to stomach that he will be standing again as a Liberal member after the disharmony he has created since he left the leadership.

My only thoughts are he must think he has the numbers if Abbott loses at the next election to claim the leadership again... Too ambitious a person to stand 'for the greater good'.

Can confirm that he is an arsehole.

This man has obviously joined CW.

It's exactly what I have been saying about Team Rudd for the past three years.

He, rather deliberately, attempts to influence Newspoll.

And, make no mistake, the political landscape is interpreted by reporters through the Newspoll prism.

It's a credit to him, and a blight on the Liberals that they don't attempt to do the same or, worse, haven't even twigged to doing so.
