Anyway, it makes me giggle to hear a Labor supporter complain about unfavourable media coverage for Rudd.
Hardly complaining tbf.. Is a fact Labor (wrongly) vacated the dancefloor over December and January - gave Abbott lots of oxygen, and he took his chance.

I don't think people, but for tragics, folk were all that engaged with politics over the Summer.

I think there is more to it than that.

I think it's a combination of Copenhagen/ETS, Kevin Rudd starting to grate, failure to follow through on policy delivery, and an Opposition who are firing their bullets at the government rather than each other.

I have strong, strong mail that indicates that this may be about to change.

Hey guys, if you don't mind, I will sit back with my popcorn and enjoy some decent political debate up until the election. Going to enjoy this.

I really am sad.

Will be annoyed if Abbott gets control of the country. The **** still thinks it's 1920.

Rudd's the Whitlamesque spender of the 1970s, and has taken workplace relations law back to the pre-Keating era.

Look at what they do, not what they say.

I'm just slightly pissed at extreme right-wing people who think global warming is a myth, and think's that chicks shouldn't have sex until they're married.

In other words, I'm pro left-wing.

15. Why does it matter? I bet that 90% of people I know had sex before their marriage.

Loved Tanner on Q&A last night. Fantastic juxtapositioning between him and Joyce.

I was taking the piss out of you.

I'm not completely sold on global warming as such, not that I think it is a myth, but I don't trust either political party who have their own self interests attached, and I would rather make myself more informed on the subject.

Wish people would just trust science as the most accurate and impartial explanation of truth there is.

People don't trust anything that challenges the status quo and forces them to confront a world different to what they know. Science is never "proven" but it's worth remembering the extremely high standard of proof that it holds itself to and the fact that it adjusts its views based on the data at hand. Unfortunately people would rather blindly follow their religious or ideological belief and those in that minority get far too much airtime.

Science is about rigour, scepticism and peer review.
