Kevin 07 hit the bookshops yesterday.

    Should be a good read.

Looking forward to Howard's End too.

The proceeds from such a tax could be invested and distributed as research grants, into the development of new technologies. In the end, climate change is something that will be solved by technology, not by consumers running around switching their unused lights off, and kidding themselves that such a thing makes a grain of difference.
I am no expert on it but i think that there is going to be a lot of disagreement on whatever action is taken. I will be happy enough as long as some action is taken soon.

Left myself open for that - it was too early in the morning.

    Should be good reads though.

Have seen a biography (in Chinese) of Kevin in bookshops here, the tagline being 'the Australian president who can speak Chinese.' Looks a riot.

The Queensland Liberal and National have merged into one. Will this work or not? Either way the bitching has to stop or otherwise it will be a walk in the park election win for Anna Bligh.

Well I personally think that he, being Kevin Rudd isn't doing that greater job at the moment. He spends to much time in other countries and barely has time for his own. I always knew he was to dense to become Australia's Prime Minister and in my opinion it is really showing at the moment, he is lacking in many fields of politics in my opinion. Get back here and do your bloody job Kevin.

Too dense? When has that stopped anyone from gaining high-ranking positions in government? There's a bloke in the US who springs to mind...

It's errors in spelling. I think if you're going to call someone dense then it helps. Although I am aware that it's not your fault.

Relations with other countries are part of his job. That said, he has it way too easy with Nelson as opposition leader. When Costello moves into the job he will have more of a fight.

I agree with everything that you just said there but even if it is his job to relation with other countries shouldn't his main priority be to help the Australian economy? He hardly seems to be here, always in Japan, England, China or somewhere, it is annoying me a lot, I may not know much about politcs etc, etc but one thing I do know is that Kevin Rudd isn't doing his job properly. The one thing is about this though is that Brendan Nelson doesn't have a clue about it either, they are like Dumb and Dumber those two. Costello seems to be alright at the job though and I have no idea why we didn't pick him in the first place. I mean, after all noone said that politics was an easy subject. Pity that they do not teach you these things in year seven, it sucks.
