Channel 7's coverage has been utterly crap. Relied on stupid gimmicks and flashy graphics all night. Been watching 9...Laurie Oaks ftw.
It's pretty cool voting for the first time, and actually knowing your vote counts, having helped Mike Symon win in Deakin. Can't wait for Howard's speech.

Excellent concession speech from Howard, I thought. Although I voted for Labor and didn't want to see the Coalition getting back in, I can't share the same delight and excitment of some of those here at the results.
