Haha, had similar experiences. Girls like long hair on me until they start going out with me, then they generally want me to cut it after a month or so. No idea why. Although my current girlfriend says I look better with long hair when wearing glasses, and better with short hair when wearing contacts. Go figure.

As a general rule, of course there are exceptions, facial hair (in terms of mo's and beards) just looks ridiculous unless you're 35+. Even then it's dodgy. You have to have a mature face. I just can't understand why haven't got the self awareness to see that for themselves.

I have quite a young face, and i've been told i look about 14 without my beard. With the beard people are suprised when i tell them i'm 19. Plus my gf likes it.
