Yeah, many people find it too sweet. I like to eat it with the warm milk that is served in those kulad mugs (not exactly sure what it's called), but that usually balances the taste for me. Some of the best jalebis I've had were in Rajasthan, and that's where that sort of milk is really popular too during the winter months.

Apparently they have paneer jalebis too, I've never tried one though.

Damn, no wonder they taste different at times. The yellow ones are Jalebis then and the orangeish brown ones are imarti?
