Gallop Racer on PS2. I forgot how much fun that game is, and what a good feeling it is to hit the lead at the top of the straight in a G1 race.

I actually like them quite a bit (the main three anyway - never played Redguard or the other spinoffs), although I haven't finished any of them since the original Arena.

I suppose they're more sandbox oriented, in the sense that I mess around in them for a few hours here and there, but I rarely actually complete them. Fairly ambitous games though.

Fifa 99 with it's dedicated button for professional fouling definitely deserves a mention.

I also refuse to count CM/FM as a video game.

Yeah, that button was gold.

And simply, FIFA's great as a multiplayer game because it's so easy to pick up as a new player. Even if the gameplay itself is ridiculously repetitive.
