Brightburn - Fun twist on the superhero gimmick. They could've done much more with the premise but I still enjoyed this a lot.

The Hallow - Irish horror from 2015 that just kind of dumps this couple into the middle of a forest populated with mythological varmints. Nothing in the story ties them to the outside world so we get 90 mins of screaming and running around in ominous looking surroundings with no real exposition or resolution to speak of.

Should be fun. Apparently Thor joining the Guardians has been binned now that James Gunn is back directing GOTG3, will be interesting to see how it all hangs together.

so thor left the avengers and now is out of the guardians team...they need to close the loop on his character in a good way like they did with iron man and cap...

Disappointing. That would've been fun, even if it only lasted a movie. Also a bit weird considering the whole handing over to someone else to rule Asgard thing.

Yeah I think they missed a trick in just wrapping up his story in Endgame. Though it can be forgiven considering how much else was going on.

Athlai was indeed right, The Lion King remake is pretty bad. I expected a bland re-telling, and it is, but some of the scenes they've chosen to leave out just left me a bit baffled. Disney should feel bad but they wont because it'll make a zillion dollars and they'll continue to make these.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood....

Enjoyable romp for sure. It took me a long time to cop on,,,but Leo is a gun actor especially when it comes to comedy. Pitt along with Robbie really good also.

So best and worst Quentin films.....

Best for me still Pulp Fiction, Resovoir Dogs,,Inglorious Bastards and Jackie Brown in that order.

I don't remember Death Proof well enough tbh to rate one way at the moment so will say Kill Bill 1 the worst of his work.

Anyone else got a ranking of qt?

    7. Django Unchained 5/10

Probably something like that. Lady Snowblood is a much better version of Kill Bill, btw.

Saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood tonight.

Some excellent dog on hippie violence. Worth the admission for that scene alone. Thoroughly enjoyable overall too though.

Anyway, worst Tarantino film is easily Death Proof. Not just a bad Tarantino film, but bad by any standard. Really dire.

Yeah I appreciate what he was doing with Deathproof, but really it has like 10 good minutes in it and it's mostly just bad bad.

Just watched Ready or Not. So much fun for a braindead movie.
