Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
I really liked Now You See Me.
The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
Forever 63* at the SCG
Kick Ass 2 was entertaining enough - just lacked something the original had, IMO.
watched Man of Tai Chi last night; didn't like it, acting was pretty poor on one-on-one fights
has anybody seen world war z. Is it a good flick?
in a shocking twist fans of the book hate it
Exit pursuing a beer
Just watched world war z. Was ok.
yet they're totally different animals that seems to only have some sketchy things linking them, the name mainly.
The book was different to anything I've ever read in the genre, quite dull at times, with stats and analysis, also had no sense of jeopardy because the people were talking after the events so you knew they weren't going to die and the World would be okay in the end.
Yet it's anal qualities worked for making it seem realistic that this could happen, by breaking down events and showing that it was massive idiocy from governments that could lead to these problems, even with the slow-moving zombies.
and here's the rub, the films zombies are 28 days Later Zoms, they're fast and killers. It focuses on one person really, not the multi world-wide stories of the book.
I don't think that's too bad a thing though, I think it would have been pretty unfilmable, and what you get in the film is a slick good action horror-flick with a great lead. All very enjoyable, but seems utterly divorced from the source. Just think they could have named it something totally different.
Yet hey it's a good name
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.
