Must admit, first time I'm noticing her tbh. Which other movies has she been in?

EDIT: That are worth watching, I should say.

Watched Silver Linings Playbook. Simply outstanding. Loved the story, but enjoyed the performances more. This was the first movie in ages where I thought De Niro gave a damn instead of just showing up for a paycheck. Bradley Cooper showed some acting chops as well. The star of the movie for me, though, was undoubtedly Jennifer Lawrence. Of all the impressive young actresses out there (and there are quite a few), she's the leader of the pack IMO. I wouldn't be shocked if she receives an Oscar nomination for her performance. And that body!

Absolutely agree with you on this. Watched it a few weeks back, and even though there was not much to the story, the performances were brilliant. Didn't know Bradley Cooper had it in him to pull off such a role.

So many good movies have come out recently.

Meh. Really don't understand the buzz tbh. Especially for Chastian for Best Actress.

As I said above, I liked it tbh. But even then, I understand why some people may not and those who feel it's been overhyped.

But one thing I do have to vouch for is that the performances were great, especially Chastain. Each emotion and exchange was so detailed and well carried out.

Zero Dark Thirty Spoiler

Who is the CIA guy that was reading the Salat? Searched this online and there was an article (don't know if it's credible by Washington Post) that mentioned the head of counter terrorism at the CIA being a convert.

Also during the end raid, why was that marine/special force guy speaking in Arabic to the civilians? This is Pakistan.

I thought he was speaking Pushto myself. Didn't really notice that it was Arabic.
