Enjoyed Tintin tonight. Thought the animation was brilliant and the script was consistently entertaining and at times hilarious - particularly Thompson and Thomson.

Even though they obviously didn't write the dialogue, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg did Thompson and Thomson brilliantly.

I wouldn't be surprised if Frost and Pegg did have a fair bit of input tbh. Well Pegg mostly. He is a pretty successful writer.

Had the misfortune of watching Funny Games the other night. Won't be making that mistake again.

Watched The Green Hornet last week, fairly entertaining and Let Me In the other night which was better than I was expecting given I hate vampire films.

Will have to (unsurprisingly) say that the original Swedish version is so much better than the remake. Mainly because the Swedish one was a story about children who happened to be vampires, whereas the remake was a story about vampires who happened to be children. Like you, I am not a fan of vampire films either.

Why do people like Let me in? The acting was just terrible.

I actually thought Let Me In was one of the better Hollywood remakes. I prefer the original like Sledger but the remake held my interest as well.

Speaking of Hollywood remakes, am going to watch The Girl With A Dragon Tattoo tonight. I loved the original and I have read excellent reviews of the Hollywood version. Hope it matches my expectations.

Watched London Boulevard which turned out to be entertaining, didn't know nothing about going in, made it better tbh, great little gangster thriller.
Also watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, awesome movie ,incredible acting, Oldman has got to get a Oscar nod for his part in this, highly recommend it.
The Devil's Double was another one I caught this week , another top notch film, really engrossing film from star to finish, well worth a watch imo.

The Hangover 2 and Inbetweeners Movie my next to watch, probably in a few days. Seen Inbetweeners before, but watching them back to back promises to be fun.
