Watched Step Up 3 today. Had a lot of "Wow", "Oooh" and "Aaah" moments and the crowd enjoyed the exceptionally fantastic dance moves. Was certainly better than part one and two. Nothing much in terms of a story but the dancing is absolutely fantastic and outstanding it has to be said. Brilliantly choreographed dance routines if you have an eye for that sort of thing.

Finally got around to watching The Hurt Locker. While enjoyable, I don't quite get the hype. Tight film all around but after reading the comments here I was really expecting much more.

Saw North by Northwest again, and Funny People. Liked them both.

Powerful film that, not really sure what my reaction to it is even now, and I watched it a year or so ago. Very sombre tstl.

One of the most unbearably sad films I've ever seen.

It was very, very good, but I have absolutely no wish to see it again. Ruined my week.

Wouldn't be so bad if the little girl didn't die. What a shocker. Good tale though, refreshing to see a film which tells the story of WW2 from the perspective of a Japanese civilian rather than the standard Hollywood film where all the japs are evil and souless cannon fodder.

Dunno, the main Japanese adult comes off as soulless and evil. WAC.

Yeah true actually. Only had to hand out a little food and the kids would have been ok. WAC indeed.
It was the Director's Cut where instead of going back and scaring the girl, he goes back to his birth and strangles himself. It also added in scenes where they go see a fortune telling, and we find out he had two brothers who were still born. Showing that his brothers obviously did the same thing he did. With the original Hollywood-ised ending, it sorta made no sense how it was a sort of happy ending. As the theme throughout the film was that no matter how hard you tried something would always be ****ed up.
It had me thinking, wouldn't it be great if all films had two endings? The retards could watch the Hollywood ending that doesn't make much sense and.......... oh wait, am I film a snob?
Yeah, I've seen this film a few times and have been thrown by the different endings. I love the film. Kutcher's best by a million miles.

Watched The Invention of Lying last night, I quite liked it

Actually a decent call by GIMH there. Kutcher was pretty good in that film regardless what I have to say about the rather naff narrative.
