...that wasnt as bad a film as Van Helsing..i managed to watch it all the way through... some films should be drowned at birth....Van Helsing being one of them!

Hahaha. I walked out of the Thin Red Line as well. Dreadful, overblown pretentious crap. The only other film I've walked out on was Contact.

in fairness to the film though, it started off well. And Woody Harrelson blowing his own arse of with a grenade is pretty funny. Mind you, i laughed at Saving Private Ryan (both the wrong private ryan bit, and the guy at the beggining walking on the beach, who picks his own arm up.), so my humour is pretty dark

Finally watched the Simpsons movie. Was better than I thought it would be, but that might be due to my low expectations of the movie. Very disappointed Mr. Burns didn't have a bigger role in the story. FFS, crisis in Springfield and Monty has one scene?
