    I can't criticise that - I've given 46 10/10s to movies/TV series on IMDB.

Saw A Single Man (thanks, World Cinema Showcase!). Great from. Finest work Firth has done imo. Direction was great, loved the different changes in tone/filter throughout.

Watched Watchmen for the first time. Not sure what to make of it. I really liked it at the beginning, but was a bit disappointed at the direction it took. The 2.5 hours flew by, unexpectedly. Rorschach was a fantastic character, the prison scenes had me on edge.

I didn't really like that one, although the opening credits sequence was absolutely phenomenal.

I just watched Josie and the Pussycats. The cartoon series was a bit of a guilty pleasure when I was younger, so I thought maybe the movie would be the same. It wasn't. Absolutely atrocious.

Finally got around to seeing The Hurt Locker last night. Amazing, brutal, riveting and moving film. One of the best movies about men at war I've ever seen. I thought a couple of the scenarios in the second half where the protagonists got themselves into deep doo-doo were a little unlikely, but otherwise faultless. 9.5/10.

Kick Ass = best comic book adaptation in years. Loved it. The chick who played Hit Girl is going to be HUUUUUUUUGE. Think staff involved in TDK need to take note of how seriously it doesn't take itself.

5 years? You mean best comic movie in the last 5 years? Or 5 years until she has her first stint in rehab?

5 years until she is 18 afaik. So the latter is possible.

Probably my favourite bit was at the start when the call jumped off the building thinking he could fly, instead he smashed into the car. But yeah, Hit Girl in the movie swore like a wharfie.

Not so much a plot spoiler as a gag spoiler.
