I have been looking at the best dvds recommended by the site dvdtalk.
The ones I think I will ultimately buy -
Touch of Evil 2 disk set
Godfather Trilogy Coppola restoration
LOTR Trilogy (if I like it, which I think I will given I loved the first movie and it only gets better from there on from all reports)
Cat On A Hot Tin Roof (Not recommended as a dvd collector series by dvd talk but a favorite of mine)
Children of Men (The Dvd has some superb extras and should be worth a buy)
High Noon (2 disk set - loved the movie)
Zodiac (2 disk set)
I have ordered Citizen Kane and Taxi Driver double disk sets which will be arriving with my brother this weekend. Looking forward to both...
I cherish Planet Earth among the loads of DVDs in my collection the most so far.. (I have more than 1000 films in my total collection)
Which are your most desired/precious dvds in your collections?

OMG!!! OMG!!!!! one more week until avatar!!!!!!
Watched New Moon on the weekend - girlfriend's choice. What a crock of ****! 1.5/10
Also unfortunately stumbled over Transformers 2 on the plane to Korea a few weeks back. Watched 5 mins and it's possibly the worst movie I've ever seen (right up there with Cry Baby years and years ago). Packed all the action cliches into that short time period. Fully deserving of a 0/10.

Saw Inglorious Basterds. Big yawn. Chick was cute, though.
