Preferred the normal ending tbh.
I am a brave man, I am a coward. I am the tiger, I am the flower.
I am honest, and I'm a liar. I am vital, I am tired.
I am a free man, I am caught. From where I am, I see the top.

I loved the movie, especially the first half. The ending was superb. In fact I liked the original ending than the alternate one. Anyway no comparison to Hancock. What a mindjob of a movie that was. Even Will suffers from the occasional lapse in choosing.
The ending of I Am Legend ruined the movie IMO. In fact, the alternate ending was supposed to be the original ending until a test audience's negative reaction nixed it. The only problem is that the whole point of the movie was negated by changing the ending. ***SPOILERS*** Dr. Neville was supposed to realize that the creatures had evolved from mindless zombies to having a family structure. This was most evident by the Alpha Male's rescue attempt of the Alpha Female. In the original book the movie is based off, Neville comes to a realization that by killing the creatures to find a "cure", he had become a legend in their eyes. He had become the monster. The producers should've stuck to the original intent of the movie and not cared about some test audience that wanted Will Smith's character to come off as "heroic" instead of the bad guy he had become.
Yeah pretty sure most people know that now.
I had no idea. Still liked I Am Legend.

Watched Match Point, it was on telly yesterday, pretty impressed with it, it was intense and more importantly very "real".
Usually such movies about infidelity can go horribily OTT, but Match Point was very well handeled in that regard, though the movie slows down a bit in pace during the middle phase of the movie, but the last 15 minutes make up for it.
Johnansson was good as the struggling actress, but Jonathan Rhys Meyers was very impressive, i think he portryed his role perfectly, all over was a pretty good watch.
Saw Chasing Amy yesterday night.
Very different to the typical Kevin Smith flick, largely very good. The climax with the three characters was a bit if a WTF though.
