Yeah it does in a way, but tbh, he does need the seperate voice, wouldnt work half as well if his Batman voice had a trace of his wayne voice. How else should batman sound if he isnt husky, doubt he should bring back his native welsh brogue for the part.

I cringed slightly the first time I heard his voice in this one. But on the whole I think it's much improved.
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

Voice is like a mix between The Godfather and Clint Eastwood IMO.

Although the godfather had been shot in the throat (not in the movie but in the book in a part which happened before when the film was set that's why he had the croaky voice). Speaking of which what does everyone think of the dark knight taking over the godfather as number 1 in the top 250? Little weird I mean it's a batman movie, but still I'll have to see it.

Haven't seen the film but could make a very nasty joke-spoiler.

Not sure anyone takes the IMDB movie ratings seriously. I lost interested when Lord of the Rings was deemed the third best film of "all-time" or Spider-man 2 was rated better than Yeelen.

It appears to be heavily biased towards newer movies, making its reliability questionable.

I was able to do it. Stayed out of the thread for close to a week. In the end there weren't too many things that would have spoiled the movie for me.

How do you think Batman should speak? He's supposed to put fear into his enemies, really can't do that with Wayne's playboy voice. Anyways if he sounded like Wayne, I'm sure someone would pick up on it.

Seen a few more films this weekend (now up to 94 out of 250 of the IMDB top 250)

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - Unexpected. Actually went to this based on someone's comments on this forum (geg?) but didn't read anything about it before hand. Well filmed and exceptional directing - typically French whistfulness in there, but a stunning film 9/10

Be Kind, Rewind - A bizarre film, trying to be popular but also offbeat at the same time. Doesn't quite work for my liking as it was neither popular or left-field and the two strands didn't complement each other well. Fans of the craft of movie making might find it interesting, if a bit simplistic. Thought the acting was a bit one dimensional. 6/10

Black Sheep - Awful acting, but suited this B movie well. Interesting to see Ian Harcourt from the Improvisers in the cast. More like a made-for-TV movie though, but amusing nevertheless. 7/10

Bowfinger - Why oh why does Eddie Murphy always insist on playing multiple roles. Just give it up and focus on your main role. Pointless. The premise of the film was good though, and worked up until the 2nd Murphy character comes in (who makes things too easy) 5/10

Fascist Dictator of the Heath Davis Appreciation Society
Supporting Petone's Finest since the very start - Iain O'Brien
Adam Wheater - Another batsman off the Essex production line
Also Supporting the All Time #1 Batsman of All Time Ever - Jacques Kallis and the much maligned Peter Siddle.
