Just watched Blood Diamond yesterday and Leonardo DiCaprio is superb in it. He has really developed as an actor. Blood Diamond could have so easily fallen apart had the central role DiCaprio was playing wasn't enacted properly.
Agreed. I have heard a few people saying that his accent was rubbish, but tbh i thot it was quite good.

Yeah, it's a masterpiece, not to use the term lightly. Best thing Lorre ever did. I think it's pretty well remembered though, along with Metropolis, by film fans, anyway.

Fair enough, didn't think anyone on CW wouldn't have known it. Doing a German film module atm, missed the first week to see Aus v Denmark so watching it now. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, silent movies just don't do it for me at all tbh.

Cried like a baby. Such a good movie.

Notes on a Scandal was class, saw that on the weekend. Dench's character is creepy as hell.

Hanging to see "The Good Shepherd". Looks good, possibly not without flaws, but for some reason really want to see it (and no that reason is not Angelina Jolie)...

Yarp! Yarp it is! Seriously, anyone involved in writing that film should be knighted. The criticism its recieved has come from the idiot media folk who take it way too seriously. Its tehre to be enjoyed, not an actual documentary.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost is the greatest combination I've seen since Run DMC teamed up with Aerosmith. The acting and the chemistry is frikkin awesome

The plot keeps you hooked, and in between all the absoloute little Gems which are sure to provide you with a quote fest for the next month or so....

Clever references to a lot of otehr films aswell. The Matrix, Commando, Old westerns, Bad Boys II, and the brilliant use of NWA. An absoloute 10/10

One of the people i saw it with said it was too long. So i joked about how they obviously have a short attention span for a fair while, the irony being that actually it's true.
