Saw Hancock last night. Was decent enough. Ending was kinda meh though. Funniest part was when he was first in prison and he carried out his threat.

Watched The Bank Job tonight, suprised me a fair bit, mainly because it was actually half decent.

Just watched Death of a President. Thought it was absolutely brilliantly done and that the investigation, arrest and trial part was worryingly believable.

Find the idea that Cheney could become President so easily quite disconcerting though.

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

That's the difference between the IA trilogy really. Andy Lau (Matt Damon equivalent) in Infernal Affairs may get away with it, but he's completely mentally gone in the third flick, troubled by whats gone on, and he's hardly proud of himself.

Because The Departed was a one-off, they just decided to kill him off. Was unnecessary IMO.
Agreed entirely. I loved the entire IA triolgy and the sequels fit into place perfectly. The Chinese version was acted superbly by Andy Lau and Tony Leung. I also really liked Eric Tsang's role as Sam.

IA definitely made you care more about the characters, especially Lau's tortured character at the end of IA 1 and then ofcourse in IA 3. I found The Departed, while excellent ofcourse to be far more gratuitous in terms of violence and language. IA didn't need excessive violence and language to be a great movie, it simply was a great movie.

Saw Hancock tonight. Not that bad. Some laugh out loud moments and Jason Bateman confirmed his status as being "awesome".

Yeah, love Bateman's resurgence. Still remember how pap he was in Teenwolf Too. If Michael J. Fox turns a movie down in the 80s/early 90s you know it's not going to be good.

Bateman = legend. Really hoping his performance in this movie leads to some more big roles for him. Also, the AD movie is gonna be the best thing ever.

Quality film. Seen it. Own it. But I though Hugh Jackman was the real star of that film. And I say that as possibly the biggest heterosexual male fan of Christian Bale.

    Watched Batman 2 last night.

The Positives - Maggie Gyllenhaal. Eric Roberts. Aaron Eckhartís chin.

Minuses Ė Chris Nolan canít direct action sequences. Although, that doesnít matter for one canít see the action, itís too dark.
Itís also an extremely humorously free film and far too sombre for my palate, particularly when the material is ripe for at least some semblance of humour.
    Twenty (+) minutes too long.

Dogma, really fun movie. Chris Rock in his less annoying days and any appearance of Jay and Silent Bob has got to be good.

The whole 13th apostle schtick was great too.
