    Haha. Obviously not then.

Dr Strangelove is an impressive find though.

Excellent buys all the 4 bolded IMO. Casino is not bad either and I am yet to watch the Dollars trilogy. I don't rate Scarface (1980s version) and The Departed very highly.

Massively overrated. Not nearly as good as the original. Scorsese only won an Oscar for it because he hadn't won one before.

I know it's rated highly on here, but I didn't think Internal Affairs was that much better than The Departed. I know one is standing on the others shoulders and all, but they're pretty much the exact same movie. I thought The Departed was produced much better but horribly miscasted though.

Who was horribly mis-cast, though? Marky Mark and perhaps Matt Damon but I thought Jack Nicholson, Leo DiCaprio, etc. were top-notch. Internal Affairs was a great film but the big difference between the two was the concentration; IA delved less into the individuals and their foibles whereas the Departed, Jack and others were allowed to run rampant and I'm sure a lot of their roles were off-the-cuff. Bearing in mind, Hollywood spent a lot more on the Departed than the Hong Kong studios spent on IA.

The accents in the Departed were terrible, though. Should be re-named the Depaaahted,

Once Upon a Time in the West is probably the best western of all time, and one of the greatest films TBH. I prefer The Good, The Bad and The Ugly but I still rate both.

    Everyone for mine besides Leo.

Didn't rate Nicholson in the role and Damon was pretty poor though I usually rate him pretty highly. Too many A grade actors as well made it all a bit silly for lack of a better word. And yeah it would have had a better budget, but it doesn't change the fact it was produced better. I guess I found Internal Affairs slightly uninteresting as I'd watched it after the Departed and it was kind of like watching that movie for a second time and you knew everything that was going to happen.

Infernal Affairs was a much less contrived and try-hard film. The dialogue in The Departed was weak and felt a lot less genuine.

I can see that. The Depaahhted was a more spectacular production, slicker and more visual so certainly, it would suffer less on the re-watch than IA did had you watched IA first and The Depaaaaaaaaaaaaahted second.

You're right, though; Leo was very, very good.
