The only thing in The Feelers' favour is that the lead singer, James Reid, sang back-up for me in a random karaoke bar one night as I belted out Spandau Ballet's True. Good bloke.
Agree with you 100% there. PI Tchaikovsky wrote about 7 or 8 of my favourite pieces of classical music. I particularly enjoy his #1 Piano Concerto. Excellent.
As for Matt Bellamy, if Mozart & beethoven were seen as massively overblown and egotistical in their day, then yes - he's very similar. Personally, I really enjoyed Muse back in 1998/9 and their first album, but everything since has stunk.
