Thanks to all who voted for me, there's obviously been some hideous miscarriage of justice here but I'm too egotistical to be anything less than "well pleased" with the result.

I'd like to thank Faaip's alcohol induced coma, Hull for clinching me those crucial sympathy votes in the semi &, most importantly, my more-or-less total lack of a social life which allowed me to put in the crucial time at the CW coalface.

Officially all downhill from here...

Right Brumby, I know you want to celebrate, but really, it's tough. You gotta start preparing for your 2007 campaign. You'll be under the spotlight now as a defending champion - just ask Pickup about the pressure.

Well done Brumbers, I didn't vote for you, but as my only three votes in the competition, Aussie, Chris.Hinton and LuckyEddie, went out in the first round, you should be delighted I didn't give you my kiss of death.

Well-deserved though, if I was to of done a non-comedy vote, it would of been to you

Congrats to Dale, a well deserved winner. Mind you, the final was a bit like Federer paying Peter Luczak. Thanks to those who voted for me throughout, was really suprised and shocked to have gone so far.
