I'm going to be a Father

I just wanted to share this news with everybody even though I don't know many of you very well. Because I am immensely proud, in 8 months my good lady will be giving birth to my own child, I am so excited

There's a wide range of people on here. Tell me about your kids, and give me any tips that will be useful for me in the next 20 years!

My sincere condolences.

Haha nah, congratulations. Out of interest, how old are you?

Bring them up speaking proper northern rather then that horrible scouse stuff. My auntie lives in Hooton and her kids (aged 5 & 3) sound awful already.

Congratulations Geraint, that's fantastic news.

If it's a boy, you make sure his first birthday present is a cricket bat.

A mate of mine thought he had knocked up a chick once. Turned out she was just fat.

Congrats by the way, all the best with the little boy/girl.

He's obviously not excited at all. I wouldn't be if I had to bring up a scouse kid.

You have to call him Geraint.

Personally I have enough on my hands looking after other people's kids for extended periods of time to have any desire for any of my own within the next decade...
