Icon5 Have you ever got a 'Zero' in a exam?

Back in 11th standard, I once gave a physics test. In it, I got 0 out of 20.

I had got 1/10 a few years back, but never 0.

After that, I never got 0 in a test, though I got 1/20 in a test on Logic Design a few months back.

Well, last time I went to an STD clinic, my score was a zero. I was so ashamed!

Wouldn't it be "negative" and not "zero"? Be more ashamed!

I did a companion test...it was associated with the assignment we'd just done and I couldn't solve anything. The lower score they gave was a 1 so I got that.

For the last Maths test we did though my friend who does no work at all ever just answered "69" for every question.

My high point in terms of exam blowouts would be the 2003 British Mathematical Olympiad [question paper] where I recorded a stellar 2/50. Happily I did beat at least 120 other people who recorded zeros and ones - and as far as I was concerned, it was good enough going just to qualify for it!

Is that the A-Level equivelant of the Maths Challenges where you got a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate depending how well you did?

This is the second round of it - the top 800 (?) qualifiers from the UK Senior Maths Challenge made the Olympiad. I got six golds and five best-in-schools from the various challenges I entered. Was very disappointed aged 13.

I managed to scrape a bronze in year 11 i seem to remember.
I find it a lot easier to waffle about America's failings in warfare since 1945 than answer maths questions.
