Who watches it? I make no secret of the fact I think it's probably the best TV show ever made. It combines virtually every well-known genre imaginable, and once you explore some of the metaphor and allegory used in it, it starts to become more than just a TV show.

Not only that, but it's also an utterly compelling watch. Every time you get a question answered, you end up asking ten more.

I'll gush more about it once I know there are others around who can sympathise.

Says the one who's probably never even bothered watching it. It wasn't made in Lancashire or Scotland, though, I guess.....

Well, given the choice between another Northerner and a Southerner, you were never gonna choose me, were you?

I think it has a battle with Friends for the title of the best western TV show, but it's getting nowhere near best TV show ever.

Anime blows all your traditional shows away. The western world is far, far, far away from the Japanese in the art of storytelling.

Fair enough. I know nothing about anime, but it sounds like there's a lot of culture and history behind it - can see how it might be very interesting.

I missed the first series because i used to work wednesday nights, so never got into it. Seen a few episodes here and there, and i admit it'd probably make a good watch, but balls to the idea of catching up with about 30 hours of TV to follow the storyline.

Same reasons behind me never watching 24

Dont worry TV fans, my coats already on and the taxi's at the door.

It's just Jamee. Don't worry, chances are he'll get something right soon - law of averages and all that.

It's not the culture and history, really, it's just that through experience, they've perfected the art of weekly storytelling. Be it the weekly manga (Cartoons) that appear on the newstands or the Anime adaptations of it.

They really do appeal to all, once you look beyond the language and subtitle barriers.

Lost is my favorite show on television. The mysteries and mythology of the show are fascinating! The show in also unique in that the producers are actively interacting with fans via different "fake" websites (like the Hanso Foundation site, or Oceanic Airlines site, or Charlie's band's site etc), and the producers even incorporate fan's feedback into the show (the "numbers" grew in prominence in story lines due to fan popularity and season 2's finale will reveal more answers that season 1 due to fan complaints). These are just few examples. But before I start discussing some plot points and throw some ideas around, is it ok for me to discuss season 2? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't UK a little behind on the episodes? Don't want to ruin someone's viewing experience by discussing episodes they may not have seen yet!
