User Elimination

Ok, i know this may get closed or whatever, or maybe no one will post in it, but i'm gonna try anyway.

The idea of user elimination is that we start with the 10 highest posters of the forum, each start with ten points, you can -1 point to a user and +1 to another each time you post and once a person goes to 0, they get eliminated, eventually leaving us with a person who has the right to call himself 'best user' or something.

You copy and paste the list the previous poster posted and add you -1 and +1 points.

I've seen this done on the imdb.com forums and in one 24 hour voting period you are able to add one point to one person and take one point off another person....I think...

I think perhaps if you start with 10 posters and then the first one to get eliminated is replaced by the person next in line on the post count (which could shake up voting a bit) and so on and maybe find the most popular poster in the top 50 or something;. Or maybe it would be more P.C. or polite to do it on the top 50 highest run scorers in test cricket or top 50 wicket takers (or something like that).
