I tend to be this, but also that "anything under 7.5" usually includes the 1-2 hours of actually trying to fall asleep

That sort of average puts you in line for a spot in the England top three.

I'm still as bad as I was 13 years ago. I'm an absolute shocker for getting to sleep, so tend to function on around 4-5 hours, and play catch up every few days or so (i'll have one where I just crash at 10 and sleep through to 7.30).

Having said that give me an early dart from work and I'll have that afternoon nap (which is about 3 times a week at the moment)

These bad habits are really hard to break for me. Even if I sleep early, I'll not get to sleep without rolling around for an hour or so, so most days I say **** it and stay up late when I can go to sleep quickly..

Can easily doze off in the evenings though which is strange.

I'm lucky if I get 5 total, and 2 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

This is basically me. I have the brutal combo of working overnights and having three little kids. I thank my lucky stars and call my wife a hero if I ever get more than 3 hours uninterrupted. 5 hours total is a pipe dream right now.

I would say I probably get about 5 hours sleep per night (but if I am working from home I often have a 2 hour nap after lunch).

Night time sleep is often interrupted for me by bad dreams, needing to pee, or horrible cramp (a relatively new, but incredibly annoying, development).

I need to start working out again. Love that feeling of contented tiredness at the end of the day where you just can't keep your eyes open even if you feel like wasting time on the internet. Quality of sleep is also so good.

I'm the opposite with working out. I feel incredibly fresh, so much so that I have a habit of hitting gym before work on most days.

It depends for me. This freshness is like a second wind for me, it won't come until an hour or two after working out. Immediately after fairly intense exercise I am pretty beat. Tiredness is like a window for me, I have to take advantage of it whilst it's open, or face staying up for several more hours.

A good workout is refreshing at first, then maybe 12 hours later there's a crash. Silver lining of being injured is that I can shift the cardio work to the mornings so the crash comes at bedtime instead of in the middle of the work day.

Well that would explain why I go to bed as soon as I get off work and have a nice sleep (when possible). As mentioned, I work overnights so this works out pretty well.
