Yeah...it's ****ed. I'm very old fashioned when it comes to things like that. If I ever wanted someone else, or wanted to move on; I'd end the relationship I'm in first than betray them. I'd lay the law out too: you cheat on me I'll kill you both.

Take the stat with a pinch of salt, but I was more pointing to reading peoples views on marriage in that thread. A lot of what I've heard from people I know make me very very wary of it.

Bumping this for the New Year.

Was at a new year party and met this girl. We kinda hit it off, and I ended up taking her for a walk and copping a couple of hand holds and genuine affection. I was a little drunk and not on my best form so was actually surprised she was that interested in me. I just told her straight out I liked her.

Anyway, we decided that we should meet early next month.

I sent her a facebook message yesterday thanking her for the night and hoping we can meet soon.

Is that all I can really do at this stage? A bit worried she woke up yesterday thinking that it was a big mistake (she wasn't drinking however). So far no reply from her 24 hours after I sent the message.

Don't be such a bitch dude. Stop worrying. The less you care the more she will. I find most women, beautiful, ugly, short, tall, fat, skinny, whatever...are very insecure creatures. You didn't need to hit her up so soon, either. I'll put it this way: be light about it. Be light about everything. The more you see into stuff, or place importance on things, she will notice it from you and it will scare her off because you're making **** heavy. Don't be a needy guy, its very unattractive.

My own personal problems: dunno which girl to **** first. Loving life right now.
