Try women. It worked for me.

How does that relate to me? I'm not with any of them yet if that's what you're driving at.

For two teens to work out their relationship long-term, it seriously has to be a one-in-a-million case. Just enjoy, have good times and let the future take care of itself.
What do you think, guys? Paranoid, jaded or pessimistic?

Seriously, just take a relationship as it goes. It must be something like 95% of relationships end in failure (at a guess). That doesn't mean you can't have the successful one first, it just means it's unlikely. To not think a relationship can work out means it's doomed befoer it's started.

And yeah, I know about a dozen marriages that started in their teens. Just to buck a couple of trends in one go: My sister married a guy she met on the internet as a teenager. Now 23, she's expecting her first child.
REMEMBER: A couple of years in therapy, you'll get over it.

I am not being paranoid or pessimistic- just realistic.
Obviously, if it works out ( and by working out, i mean "lets do a systems check when i am 50" kind of thing, not just 5-6 years into a relationship), then its great. But the chances are extremely small because very few people understand (and i mean really understand) the concept of intimacy in their youth. Its a question of expectations- where you set yourself up with the ' she is THE girl/he is THE man' and then get bitterly disappointed 4-5 years later when it doesnt work out. If you dont have any expectations, it works out better that way. Relationships are a bonus, not a necessity. If one keeps that in mind, one doesnt get hurt as easily or screw up as easily.
